Author Guidelines

Each journal may have additional specific guidelines. Please also check the "Author Guidelines" page of your target journal for journal-specific requirements.

Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original work not previously published or under review elsewhere.
  • Submit via the online portal at Author Portal
  • Accepted file formats: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex with compiled PDF)
  • All figures should be at least 300 DPI resolution
  • References must follow the journal's preferred citation style

Manuscript Structure (IMRaD)

Research articles should generally follow the IMRaD format:

  1. Title Page — Title, author names, affiliations (including ORCID iDs), corresponding author email, abstract (150–300 words), 4–8 keywords.
  2. Introduction — Background, research gap, objectives.
  3. Methods — Detailed methodology enabling reproducibility.
  4. Results — Findings with tables and figures.
  5. Discussion — Interpretation, comparison with existing literature, limitations.
  6. Conclusion — Summary and future directions.
  7. References — Complete and accurate reference list.

Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Page numbers: bottom center
  • Headings: numbered (1, 1.1, 1.1.1)
  • Tables and figures referenced in text and placed after references

Ethical Requirements

  • Authorship — All listed authors must meet ICMJE criteria. Ghost and gift authorship are not permitted.
  • Conflicts of interest — Disclose all financial and non-financial conflicts of interest.
  • Funding — Acknowledge all funding sources.
  • Data availability — Include a Data Availability Statement.
  • Ethics approval — Research involving human or animal subjects must have appropriate institutional ethics approval.
  • AI disclosure — Disclose any use of AI tools (see our AI Policy).

After Acceptance

Once accepted, your article will:

  • Receive a Crossref DOI
  • Be typeset into professional PDF and JATS XML
  • Be published open access under CC BY 4.0
  • Be indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, and other databases
